خلاصه داستان : اوترد در کودکی شاهد کشته شدن پدرش و شکست ارتش ساکسون‌ها به دست مهاجمان دانمارکی بود. فرماندهٔ دانمارکی، «ارل رگنار»، اوترد را اسیر کرده و در اردوگاه خود بزرگ کرد؛ جایی که او در کنار «بریدا»، دخترکی تندخو و اسیر، بزرگ شد. سال‌ها بعد، اوترد به جنگجویی قدرتمند تبدیل می‌شود اما دوباره دچار تراژدی می‌گردد؛...
