خلاصه داستان : داستان زندگی Shi no jûjiro

Ise, a successful entrepreneur, accidentally murders his lunatic wife after he is spotted having an affair with his secretary, Harumi. In his attempt to perfect his crime, he drives to a remote quarry to bury his wife’s body, but along the way, he finds another dead body in the back of his car! Given no choice, Ise dumps both bodies. Meanwhile, Yoshie begins her search for her missing brother, Yoshihiko. After surprising twists and turns, Ise faces his fate.

خلاصه داستان : در یک دهکده کوهستانی، هیتا پسری با استعداد است اما روستاییان از او طفره می روند. او می تواند گریه پرندگان را تقلید کند و با پسر دیگری که در یک کارخانه آبجوسازی کار می کند دوست شود. هیتا توسط کشیش دهکده، یاسوگی، و معلمش، میشیکو، آرامش پیدا می کند. اما آنها نیز خود مشکلاتی...

In a mountain village, Heita, a translator's son, is a gifted boy but is shunned by the villagers. He can imitate birds' cry and befriends another boy who works in a brewery. Heita also finds solace in the village pastor Yasugi and his teacher Michiko, but they too have problems of their own.
